Tourism Resources Company worked alongside EKOS in the formulation of an economic impact assessment of Galloway Forest Park. The Forestry Commission has a vision to see GFP evolve into an outstanding visitor and recreational destination. It is anticipated that the Park will increasingly become a key economic driver for the rural area, boosting visitor spend and visits to the Park and increasing the length of time visitors spend in the Park, thereby increasing local benefit and achieving sustainable economic growth. We presented our findings to the client.
