Ambitious for Tourism Caithness and North Sutherland was a programme initiative designed by HIE that saw TRC as specialist tourism planners work with the tourism sector and local communities to identify opportunities for businesses and communities to develop and enhance the tourism offering of the area and deliver sustainable change. TRC were commissioned to facilitate a series of workshops and development sessions with all those with a vested interest in the health of the tourism sector at a regional and local level.  The aim to open up discussions around the future of tourism in the area across the whole community and establish a spatial plan for development of the sector.
